Q: What form of payments do you accept?
Answer: JBostic Accounting & Tax Services, Inc. accepts credit cards, checks, cash and
payments taken from your refund.
Q: Can I receive a tax refund if I am currently making payments under an installment
agreement or payment plan for a prior year's federal taxes?
Answer: No. As a condition of your installment agreement, any refund due to you in a future year
will be applied against the amount that you owe.
Q: I am thinking of starting a business what should I do?
Answer: Contact JBostic Accounting & Tax Services, Inc. and schedule a consultation to discuss
your business venture. It is important to have your new business set up properly.
Q: How do I update my withholding allowance or personal information?
Answer: Use Form W-4, Employee's Withholding Allowance Certificate. If you get married or
divorced, if a child is born, or if you no longer can claim a child as your dependent, you will need to
complete a new Form W-4. When you begin to work at a new company, your employer must give
you a Form W-4 to complete. You can also request a Form W-4 from your employer at any time to
reflect a change in your tax situation
Q: How does the new health care requirements apply to me?
Beginning in 2014, individuals must have health care coverage, qualify for a health coverage
exemption or make a shared responsibility payment with their tax return. The taxpayer was
suppose to have had qualifying health care coverage (called minimum essential coverage) for every
month of 2014 for himself, his spouse (if filing jointly) and anyone he could or did claim as a
dependent.
